Saud was told he would be provided with money and phones and everything else he needs, and that his task was to photograph Syrian and Russian military sites and send the pictures via the internet.
He said that he met British intelligence officers at al-Tanf area on the Syrian-Jordanian borders, an area occupied by US forces, after fleeing Palmyra where he was a member of Daesh.
Saud said that the British intelligence wanted information on important Russian sites in Syria and how they are being protect, so that they could be targeted at a later time.
