On January 7, Russia reported that Idlib militants violated the ceasefire regime in Greater Idlib 16 times: 8 – in Idlib province, 4 – in Latakia province, 1 – in Aleppo province, 4 Hama province;
On January 6, Israeli warplanes targeted an Syrian Arab Army (SAA) radar base near al-Dour village west of Suwaida and the Kiswah area south of Damascus. An SAA soldier was reportedly killed;
On January 6, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled positions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Harbul area;
