In 2003, the Bush/Cheney regime falsely linked made-in-the USA Al-Qaeda to Iran.
In 2004, it linked toppled Iraqi Saddam Hussein’s regime to the US created and supported terrorist organization, along with ISIS and like-minded jihadists.
Saddam was and Iran is their mortal enemies, the US and its imperial partners their sponsors.
They provide funds, arms, training and direction for their fighters, used as imperial foot soldiers in the Middle East, Central Asia and elsewhere.
Despite no evidence linking Al-Qaeda to Saddam’s Iraq, plenty showing it was made-in-the-USA, GW Bush once astonishingly said:
“The reason I keep insisting that there was a relationship between Iraq and Saddam and Al Qaeda (is) because there was a relationship between Iraq and Al Qaeda (sic).”
Draw your own conclusion about a reviled figure at end of his devastating to peace and the rule of law tenure.
Cheney reinvented reality by falsely claiming “overwhelming…evidence” of an Iraqi link to Al-Qaeda under Saddam — a bald-faced Big Lie.
Virtually everything claimed about nations free from US control is malicious slander.
On Monday, Pompeo defied reality by falsely accusing Iran of ties to Al-Qaeda, claiming the Trump regime has few options in confronting the group because it’s “burrowed inside” the Islamic Republic (sic).
No evidence supported his phony claim because there is none.
He lied like countless times before.
As Trump regime CIA director before becoming its bully-in-chief on the world stage, he infamously said:
“We lied. We cheated. We stole. We had entire training courses,” adding:
“It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment” — its war on humanity at home and worldwide.
While masquerading as chief US diplomat, he wrecked relations with other countries instead of fostering cooperative ones.
He won’t be missed when gone. Nor will Trump and other regime hardliners, a new rogue bunch to replace them.
Whenever transition of power occurs, dirty business as usual continuity doesn’t miss a beat.Iran Linked to Al-Qaeda?
